Just had a very strange bug happen.
While I was leading the (very) unexperienced scout through goggles (after I killed Lich by my own mistake), I had this happen :
He was supposed to tumble back to 2nd row, but did not, he just stood there... and didn't die. He was over a tile fading in and out with no problem.
I tried to get him to the end from there (it was a VERY convinient spot to have him, as the tile he was on disapeared before the next one appeared), but he didn't react in time and as soon as he moved, he died. He had jumped in place before without dropping.

So, from that, would you say that there is potential to survive a disappearing tile if you remain in one spot as it fades?

I have no idea, just reporting what I experienced. It may be a bug linked to the arty ball graphic most of us had, linked to pets, linked to nothing...
I'm not ready to test more in pugs, already got my share of shame in that one and the ones after.

abbot fails, it just happens. No single person is to blame.
I've killed my share of people in goggles. I was also concerned about time when that scout was late and would have probably done the same as you did.
Well more abbots to come after i cap gold again :-)
